Weekly Recap: Disabled lamb gets calendar close-up
Scooter McScooterson is one of two California animals to be featured in a charity pets calendar.
A disabled lamb who found a home at a Vacaville animal rescue is getting his big close-up next year.
Scooter McScooterson lost the use of his two hind legs at just two weeks old. He and his mom were taken in by the operators of the Funky Chicken animal rescue in Vacaville a short time later where Scooter was given a walking wheelchair to help him get around.
Pet mobility company Walkin’ Pets heard about Scooter and decided he would be perfect for next year’s Walkin’ Pets Calendar. Scooter will be one of two animals from California to grace the calendar — and he will be the only non-canine featured in the 2021 calendar.
