Police in Vacaville are investigating a domestic violence case involving a pregnant woman that may have turned into a kidnapping.
Around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, police received a report from an employer of a housekeeper who was allegedly being assaulted by her husband at a hotel where she worked.
Police attempted to make contact with the victim and the suspect at a trailer where they both live but the trailer appeared to be empty, according to dispatches reviewed by Solano News Update. Officers also attempted to trace the victim’s cellphone with no success.
Law enforcement have issued a county-wide “be on the lookout” advisory for neighboring agencies, with the suspect’s vehicle described as a white 1997 Ford Explorer with California license plate 8EHB332.
Additional information, including a description of the suspect and the victim, were not available as of Saturday evening.
