A man who led police on a chase that spanned two counties and ended in a quiet Suisun City neighborhood has been identified.
Travalin Moore, 32, was arrested in front of a home along Pintail Drive in Suisun City after leading police on a high-speed pursuit that wound through parts of Contra Costa and Solano counties from late Saturday evening to early Sunday morning.
Police began tracking the vehicle, described as an Acura Integra, out of Contra Costa County after learning the car was reported stolen.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol attempted to pull the vehicle over along Interstate 80 near American Canyon Road. The driver took off, leading police on a pursuit that eventually ended in front of a home at Bobolink Court in Suisun City.
Solano NewsNet was the first to report on the chase and Moore’s arrest early Sunday morning. Moore was booked into the Solano County jail on three felonies and one misdemeanor criminal charge, including suspicion of evading police, vehicle theft and driving the wrong way down a city road.
Moore was later charged with a single felony count of attempting to bring a controlled substance into jail.
