Two teenagers die in major ATV crash near Winters
The teens were riding a Suzuki all-terrain vehicle that collided with a tree in rural Solano County.

Two teenagers have died from injuries sustained in a major all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash near Winters, Solano NewsNet has learned.
The crash was reported around 4:15 p.m. along the 4300 block of Margaret Way in rural Solano County.
Initial reports indicated a motorcycle was involved in the crash, but officials later determined the vehicle was a Suzuki LT-R450 Quadracer ATV that was operated by three young riders.
The Suzuki ATV collided with a tree near the Lester Farms property, causing two teenagers to suffer traumatic injuries. The teens, identified as a 14-year-old from Winters and a 14-year-old from Woodside, died at the scene from their injuries.
A third teenager, identified only as a 15-year-old, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The Suzuki ATV was impounded by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) late Thursday evening.
Fire medics from the Vacaville Fire Protection District received assistance from the CHP and firefighters from the City of Vacaville and City of Winters.
