A forecast with gusty wind has triggered a wind advisory for portions of north Solano County.
The wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service starts Monday morning at 8 a.m. and lasts through Monday evening. The advisory covers Dixon, Fairfield, Vacaville and rural areas around those communities.
Forecasters say gusty wind of up to 40 miles per hour is possible, with sustained winds between 20 miles per hour and 30 miles per hour throughout the day.
The wind could make driving difficult during the advisory period and knock around loose objects. Small, localized power outages are also possible.
Another wind storm is likely on Tuesday.
