The Vallejo Police Department is looking for the driver of a vehicle following a pursuit that ended with an injury crash on Friday.
The agency said its officers initiated a pursuit of a car with stolen license plates around lunchtime Friday afternoon.
The pursuit lasted for around two minutes before officers called it off when the suspect began driving the wrong way on Redwood Street.
Though the chase was terminated, police say the suspect continued driving against traffic until they collided with an uninvolved vehicle.
Two people were injured in the crash and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the pursued vehicle fled the scene. Police said they were continuing to look for them as of Friday evening.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vallejo Polie Department at 707-651-7147.
