Vallejo police investigate fatal crash on Halloween

The Vallejo Police Department is investigating a high-speed traffic crash that left at least one person dead on Halloween.
Just before 12:30 p.m., patrol officers spotted a speeding vehicle near Mini Drive and Lewis Brown Drive. The car continued speeding down Lewis Brown Drive until it crashed into a traffic pole, the agency said.
Four people were located inside. All four were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One passenger died from their injuries, police said in a press release.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as 22-year-old Brian Cetinaperez of San Rafael, showed signs of intoxication. He was arrested and transported to the Solano County Jail on DUI-related charges.
