A Solano County man was arrested last week in connection with a murder case out of New Mexico, the Vallejo Police Department announced in a late-night press release on Tuesday.
The arrest of 26-year-old Deshawn Hall of Vallejo came after local police learned of a warrant connected to a 2018 murder case out of Albuquerque, police said.
Last Friday, officers with the Crime Reduction Team located Hall driving along the 1500 block of Springs Road.
Hall was taken into custody without incident, and a search of the vehicle he was driving turned up a loaded firearm in his backpack, police alleged.
Hall was booked into Solano County jail on an out-of-state warrant plus additional charges of attempting to commit robbery and conspiracy.
