The National Weather Service and the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center say a tsunami warning issued for coastal Northern California and certain inland areas has expired.
The update came at 11:58 a.m., when forecasters issued an updated bulletin through the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center saying the warning was no longer in effect.
The warning followed a magnitude-7.0 earthquake that struck off the coast of Humboldt County late Thursday morning. The earthquake was widely felt throughout Northern California, including portions of Solano County and Yolo County.
