A man was arrested in Vacaville overnight after he allegedly live-streamed himself on Facebook with the deceased bodies of two adult women.
Police received a call just before 1 a.m. from a person who claimed the man had live-streamed himself on social media with a gun. A portion of the video showed two adult women on the floor of an apartment who did not appear to be moving, authorities said.
The man, identified only as a 29-year-old from Santa Rosa, barricaded himself in the apartment when officers arrived. Police attempted to negotiate with him, but things went nowhere. Several nearby apartment units were evacuated as a precaution.
The standoff ended around 8:30 a.m. when a S.W.A.T. team entered the apartment and found the man hiding in an undisclosed location. In addition to being arrested in connection with the incident, police said the man had outstanding felony warrants for domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police did not reveal how the two women inside the apartment died. Their identities are being withheld until their family has been notified.
