The Suisun City Police Department is asking for members of the public to come forward with information that could help them solve a mysterious shooting incident that took place earlier in the week.
On Thursday, officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired along the 300 block of Flagstone Circle. When they arrived, they didn’t find a victim or a suspect, but what they did discover was just as concerning — more than 30 spent bullet casings that appeared to come from different types of firearms.
In addition to the casings, officers said they discovered multiple vehicles in the residential neighborhood that had been struck by bullets.
“Officers canvassed the scene and spoke to numerous witnesses,” a police spokesperson wrote in a social media post. “At this time, the scene is cleared.”
But police still need the public’s help in figuring out what happened — and to keep it from happening again. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at the agency’s non-emergency phone number: 707-421-7373.
