Rain showers are expected to begin late Wednesday evening in parts of Solano County. Instability in the atmosphere could create an isolated thunderstorm in the region, forecasters said.
On Thursday, the rain is expected to be off and on throughout Solano County, with anywhere between a half-inch to an inch of rain forecasted by the time the storm wraps up this weekend.
Portions of the Sacramento Valley between the cities of Sacramento and Redding could experience strong wind on Thursday as well as hail and thunderstorms, forecasters warned.
The weekend forecast calls for drier conditions throughout Northern California.
