Solano reverts to "purple" tier after stay-at-home order lifted

Solano County residents and businesses will face fewer restrictions after state officials allowed an earlier stay-at-home order to expire on Monday.
The expiration of the order means Solano County will revert back to the “purple” tier based on the state’s earlier color-coded restriction system.
Under the purple tier of restrictions, restaurants are allowed to offer outdoor dining once again while indoor retail establishments are allowed to offer indoor shopping up to 25 percent of a store’s customer capacity.
Gyms and other fitness centers are allowed to open for outdoor services. The same goes for churches and other places of worship, as long as face masks are worn and social distancing measures are practiced.
Hair salons, nail salons and personal care services may re-open for indoor, in-person client services, but staff and employees must wear face masks and practice social distancing.
Bars, wineries and other drinking establishments where meals are not served must remained closed.
