Officials with the Solano County Public Health office will hold a virtual discussion on the county’s efforts to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.
The conference will be moderated by Erin Hannigan, the Solano County Supervisor for District 1. Several medical experts and county officials will participate and offer information on when residents will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and where to get it in Solano County.
Medical experts and county officials will also offer information about possible side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine, ways to curb the spread of COVID-19 and the benefits of receiving a vaccine when a person is eligible to do so.
The virtual town takes place Friday, January 22, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. local time. The conference will be streamed live through the Solano Public Health office’s Facebook page (click or tap here), and users will need a free Facebook account to watch and participate. An on-demand version will be made available on Facebook for those who cannot participate in the live event.
Anyone with questions about COVID-19 is asked to contact the county by telephone at 707-784-8988.
