A road maintenance project on a usually-busy street in Fairfield could cause some traffic delays this week.
The bulk of the work is expected to take place on Air Base Parkway between Peabody Road and Parker Road starting on Monday, according to information from Fairfield’s public works department.
The maintenance, which involves sealing cracks in the roadway, is expected to take all week, and should be completed by Friday.
Another improvement project is taking place on Huntington Drive, an industrial street in the area of Air Base Parkway and Peabody Road.
City officials said drivers should plan their routes accordingly and use caution when traveling on streets in those areas.
