The Southern-style chicken fingers restaurant Raising Cane’s is hiring more than 150 associates to work at its forthcoming Vacaville location.
Applications for various positions will be accepted through April 25 at the Courtyard Marriott (120 Nut Tree Parkway, Vacaville). Open positions include cashiers, cooks and shift managers.
Prospective employees who cannot submit an application in person can also apply online at https://jobs.raisingcanes.com.
“We’re excited to bring…over 150 awesome new jobs to Vacaville,” Lisa Toth, a spokesperson and area leader for Raising Cane’s restaurant, said in a statement. “Vacaville is a beautiful community with tons of things to do and activities that pair perfectly with our delicious chicken fingers meals. We can’t wait to meet the amazing individuals who will join us in sharing our One Love with the Vacaville community.”
Early last year, Solano NewsNet was the first to report that Raising Cane’s had applied to build a new restaurant at the site of the former Applebee’s restaurant on Nut Tree Parkway. The application was approved, and the new restaurant was constructed this spring.
A project manager told city officials in late 2020 that the Vacaville location is expected to serve more than 1,500 customers each day.
The restaurant is scheduled to open in Vacaville next month. When it does, it will be the fifth location in the Sacramento area. Other locations include Davis, Elk Grove and Roseville.
Raising Cane’s started in 1996 with a single location in Louisiana. It now has over 600 locations across the country.
The restaurant offers a limited menu of chicken fingers and chicken sandwiches along with coleslaw, Texas-style toast, lemonade and sodas.
