Police searching for suspect in Vacaville neighborhood

Vacaville police are searching for a suspect who fled from them during an encounter in a residential neighborhood early Tuesday morning.

Around 6:45 a.m., officers were in the area of Boone Drive after receiving a report of a domestic violence in progress.

When they arrived, an individual attempted to flee from them on a motorcycle, according to dispatches. The crashed motorcycle was found near a roundabout in the neighborhood.

Police say the suspect was last seen near a home on Cody Court. Officers are currently in the area investigating.
