Police investigate carjacking, robbery in Vacaville

Police in Vacaville are investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that left one person injured on Wednesday.
The carjacking was reported around 9:30 p.m. Police initially investigated the incident as a possible kidnapping.
Officers found the victim of the incident around 10:30 p.m., and paramedics were dispatched to an area near the intersection of Nut Tree Road and Ulatis Drive after the victim reported being hit in the head during the carjacking.
Dispatches reviewed by Solano NewsNet indicate the incident may involved as many as three suspects. A be-on-the-lookout warning has been issued to nearby agencies. Officers are still searching for a white 2017 Honda Accord with California license plate 7ZNE722.
