Police: 150-200 cars participating in Vallejo sideshow

Vallejo Police and the California Highway Patrol were attempting to bust up various sideshows involving between 150 and 200 cars.
Police moved in on the sideshow participants early Sunday morning around 2 a.m. Officers and patrolmen chased dozens of cars throughout the city, corralling them in different parts of Vallejo throughout the night.
At one point, sideshow participants gathered in the area of Auto Mall Parkway where they shot fireworks in the direction of a CHP helicopter overhead.
Police were still attempting to disperse the cars as of 2:45 a.m.
