Pedestrian killed on Highway 12 identified as Fairfield teenager

A pedestrian that was fatally struck by a vehicle in Suisun City over the weekend has been identified as a teenager from Fairfield.
Police in Suisun City say James Rabara, 15, was struck by a fleeing vehicle along westbound Highway 12 early Saturday morning.
No suspect is in custody, and police have not offered any information about the driver or the vehicle involved in the incident.
Rabara, who was known to his friends as Junior, was a 10th grade student at Armijo High School in Fairfield. He previously attended Suisun Elementary School and Crystal Middle School, his family said.
Police said they are still investigating the circumstances of the hit-and-run and are asking members of the public to come forward with any information by calling 707-421-7373.
