The Vallejo Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying a man who is suspected of taking photos of women in public restrooms over the last few weeks.
In late October, police responded to a report of a man attempting to photograph a woman over a partition in the bathroom of an unspecified business. The man was confronted by someone at the business and fled the scene before police could arrive, the agency said.
On Tuesday, police were called to the same business where a second female reported a similar action. The man was said to be surreptitiously capturing video of the female in the bathroom of the business, according to police.
This time, the suspect was photographed when someone at the business confronted him. Police said they have reason to believe the same person is involved in the October and December incidents.
The suspect is described as a Black male with a slender build and average height. Anyone with information about the individual or the incidents is asked to contact the Vallejo Police Department at 707-917-4123.
