The Pacific Gas & Electric Company is reporting a sizable power outage that has interrupted electrical service to more than 300 businesses in Vacaville’s central retail district.
The power outage started around 2 p.m., interrupting service at businesses along Nut Tree Parkway between Allison Drive and Nut Tree Road as well as along East Monte Vista Avenue between Depot Street and Allison Drive.
Big-box stores like Target and Walmart are among the companies affected by the outage, as well as dozens of stores at the Vacaville Premium Outlets and dine-in restaurants like Chili’s, Olive Garden and Mel’s Diner.
