A Kaiser Permanente hospital in Vacaville was briefly evacuated on Tuesday due to a fire alarm.
Police and firefighters were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. to a report of a fire alarm going off inside the hospital’s B Building on the Kaiser campus in Vacaville.
Those inside the affected area were evacuated as a precaution.
It was quickly determined that contractors working on the hospital’s alarm system accidentally set it off.
The hospital resumed normal operations a short time later.
