Five displaced after house fire in Fairfield

Five people were displaced after a two-alarm house fire broke out in Fairfield on Monday.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. along the 1200 block of East Tennessee Street. Firefighters on the scene reported a fully-involved attic fire and quickly dispatched a second alarm response.
The fire was contained to the attic and declared “knocked down” just before 4:30 p.m., according to dispatches reviewed by Solano NewsNet.
Fire crews are still on the scene and expect to be in the area for some time while officials investigate what happened.
Five people, including a child, were displaced as a result of the fire. A pet dog was also displaced.
