Firefighters tackle one-alarm blaze at vacant Fairfield restaurant

Firefighters have knocked down a one-alarm structure fire that broke out at a vacant business on Wednesday.
The fire was reported around 9:15 p.m. at a building that once housed the Eastern Cafe near the intersection of North Texas Street and East Tabor Avenue.
No one was injured in the fire, but the building did appear to suffer extensive damage, according to videos and photos reviewed by Solano NewsNet.
Fire investigators are probing the cause of the blaze as a possible case of arson. It was not clear if a suspect had been identified or taken into custody as of Wednesday evening.
