Firefighters quickly tackle 3-alarm blaze at Peña Adobe in Vacaville

Firefighters in Vacaville tackled a three-alarm vegetation blaze that broke out on the hills of Peña Adobe on Friday.
The fire ignited just before 8:30 p.m. in the grassy hill east of Interstate 80.
A three-alarm response was triggered, bringing in firefighters from CAL FIRE and neighboring agencies.
Forward progress of the fire was stopped just after 9 p.m., according to the volunteer-run Twitter account Solano Fire.
There were no evacuations ordered during the fire. The cause of the blaze was not known as of Saturday morning.
