Forward progress stopped on fire burning in Cordelia

One firefighter was hurt while battling a four-alarm vegetation fire near Fairfield on Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. in the area of Cordelia Road and Thomasson Lane.
The blaze burned with a moderate rate of spread, triggering evacuation orders for Thomasson Lane and parts of Cordelia Road, including all of Romania Road, according to Alert Solano.
The evacuation orders were reduced to warning around 2 p.m.
The fire has burned around 20 acres, according to fire dispatches. At least one firefighter suffered an unspecified injury in connection with the fire.
The cause of the blaze was not known as of noon.
