A two-alarm fire on the roof of a pharmacy in Fairfield drew a firefighting response from several nearby agencies on Monday.
Firefighters were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. after shoppers inside the CVS Pharmacy on Travis Boulevard noticed white smoke billowing from the roof.
A responding fire crew quickly located flames in the attic of the building, drawing a two-alarm response that brought crews from Vacaville and other nearby areas.
The fire was knocked down around 6 p.m. No one was injured in the blaze.
Fire officials have not yet determined a cause for the blaze, but preliminary information indicated the roof of the retailer was being repaired earlier in the day.
