A kitchen fire has forced the temporary closure of a popular barbecue spot in Vacaville.
The fire was reported around 9:30 a.m. at the Buckhorn BBQ on East Monte Vista Avenue.
The blaze ignited in the kitchen area and spread to the air ventilation system, according to information provided to Solano NewsNet.
The fire was quickly contained, and damage was minimized to the immediate area of the blaze.
The business says it will be temporarily closed for the foreseeable future. The restaurant is directing customers to other Buckhorn BBQ locations. The franchise is owned by, but otherwise separate from, the steakhouse location in Winters.
