Crews with the Dixon Fire Department are on the scene of a two-alarm structure fire along Sikes Road.
The fire was reported around 12:45 p.m. on Monday along the 7800 block of Sikes Road, about two miles east of the city of Dixon.
When firefighters arrived, they found a fully-engulfed barn on fire. A second alarm was dispatched.
It was not clear if anyone was injured in connection with the fire.
Crews from neighboring agencies are providing coverage to the city of Dixon while firefighters from the city work to contain the blaze.
The fire broke out during a high-wind event when weather forecasters said sustained wind of up to 35 miles per hour was possible for Solano County and other parts of the region.
Already on Monday, crews from throughout Solano County have responded to numerous fires, including a large grass fire that was started near a homeless encampment in Suisun City and a fully-engulfed dumpster fire in Fairfield.
