Fire crews mop up after small grass fire in rural Fairfield

Firefighters are mopping up a half-acre vegetation fire that broke out west of Mankas Corner on Monday.
The fire started in the 2100 block of Twin Sisters Road in rural Fairfield, fire officials said.
Forward progress was stopped around 12 p.m. It was not immediately clear if any structures were damaged by the blaze.
Crews will remain on the scene over the next few hours, CAL FIRE said.
