Fire burning in Napa County visible from Solano County

A fast-moving, wind-whipped wildfire burning in Napa County is generating a significant amount of smoke that can be seen in parts of Solano County.
The fire started before 4 p.m. along the 2300 block of Old Soda Springs Road northeast of the city of Napa.
The blaze spread quickly, triggering a mandatory evacuation order for the 1300 block of Old Soda Springs Road.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) says some structures are threatened by the fire, and the blaze is growing quickly.
Smoke from the fire is visible in parts of Solano County, particularly in Fairfield and Vacaville when looking west toward Mount Vaca.
The fire is not threatening Solano County at this time.
