Police in Fairfield are investigating a robbery at a Chase Bank branch along North Texas Street.
The robbery happened Thursday around 10:30 a.m. when a person walked into the branch and handed a note to a teller that said he would shoot people inside the bank if he did not receive money.
The suspect left the bank a short time later with an unspecified amount of money, a police spokesperson told Solano NewsNet.
Police were looking for a Black male adult wearing a blue Amazon work vest and a blue surgical mask, according to police dispatches. It was not clear if police had identified a suspect beyond the description as of Thursday afternoon.
