Excessive Heat Watch issued for parts of Solano County starting Friday

Get ready for another heat wave.
The National Weather Service on Tuesday issued an Excessive Heat Watch for much of Solano County and the Sacramento Valley, with the warning period set to take effect on Friday.
In a message issued on Tuesday, forecasters with the weather agency said dangerously hot conditions were expected to drive the thermometer over 100 degrees throughout interior Northern California.
The advisory covers much of Solano County except for Vallejo and Benicia, though those communities could be added as the week continues based on changing forecast conditions.
The watch period covers Friday morning and lasts through Monday evening.

Friday: High 101, Low 60, Sunny
Saturday: High 99, Low 61, Sunny
Sunday: High 98, Low 58, Sunny
Monday: High 89, Low 56, Warm
Rio Vista
Friday: High 105, Low 62, Hot
Saturday: High 103, Low 63, Hot
Sunday: High 105, Low 58, Hot
Monday: High 92, Low 56, Warm
Vacaville
Friday: High 106, Low 64, Hot
Saturday: High 108 ,Low 65, Hot
Sunday: High 106, Low 61, Hot
Monday: High 98, Low 59, Sunny
Temperatures are expected to reduce to the mid-90s by the middle of next week, with the cooldown forecasted to last through the end of that weekend.
