More than 250,000 registered voters in Solano County will be able to cast their ballots early starting today.
Eligible registered voters in Solano County are able to send their ballot through the mail using the included, postage-paid vote-by-mail envelope that was delivered with their ballot and voter’s guide last week.
Those who want to drop off their ballots can do so at the Solano County Registrar of Voters office at 675 North Texas Street in Fairfield and 15 other locations throughout the county during normal business hours. Drop off ballot boxes are placed inside offices at each location. [Click or tap here for a list]
Starting October 29, voters will also be able to drop off their ballot using curbside delivery at 10 locations in Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Suisun City, Rio Vista, Vacaville and Vallejo. On November 3, ballots can be dropped off at any locations plus another 100 in-person poll place locations listed in voter’s guides and online.
Election officials remind voters who are casting their ballot by mail or taking advantage of drop off or curbside delivery to sign the back of their yellow envelope with a signature that matches the one provided to the Registrar of Voters or the Department of Motor Vehicles. All envelopes will be matched against the signature on record.
