Early morning crash near Dixon kills Sacramento man

An early morning solo vehicle crash claimed the life of a young Sacramento man on Thursday, according to information provided by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 5:50 a.m. along west-bound Interstate 80 near Oday Road.
According to police, the 27-year-old driver of a Mazda sedan veered off the freeway for an unknown reason and crashed into a freeway bridge along a rural road near Dixon.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. His name has not been released.
