California State Senator Bill Dodd will host a virtual town hall next week on the topic of wildfire prevention, preparedness and safety.
The town hall will feature Dodd and a panel of experts, including California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Chief Thom Porter, discussing a wide range of wildfire-related issues ahead of this year’s fire season.
The town hall takes place Tuesday, April 13 at 6 p.m.
Time will be set aside to answer questions from the audience, which can be submitted in advance by e-mailing townhall@ksvy.org or calling 707-933-9133.
The virtual town hall will be streamed live on Dodd’s Facebook page and on the Sonoma TV YouTube channel. A simulcast of the town hall will air live on radio station KSVY (91.3 FM) in Sonoma.
Dodd represents California’s 3rd Senate District, which includes all of Solano and Napa counties and portions of Contra Costa, Sacramento, Sonoma and Yolo counties.
