County health officials and the City of Dixon are hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
The clinic will take place at Dixon High School (555 College Way) on Wednesday, February 17 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The COVID-19 clinic was announced by city officials last week, with a promise that a special link would be distributed “in the coming days” to residents who were interested in participating. That link was supposed to give priority access to residents of Dixon ahead of others in Solano County.
On Tuesday, the Dixon Police Department instead said residents needed to call 707-676-3435 in order to register for the event. Only Dixon residents who are age 75 or older are allowed to participate in the clinic, the agency said in a social media post.
The clinic follows at least three others held by county officials in recent weeks, including pop-up clinics in Rio Vista, Benicia and Vallejo.
