Crews battle vegetation fire near Travis Air Force Base

Firefighters from at least two cities are battling a one-alarm vegetation fire burning east of Travis Air Force Base.
The fire was reported just before 2 p.m. along a grassy field along Highway 113 near Cook Lane in rural Solano County.
A firefighter on the scene told dispatchers that the blaze was around two acres in size with a slow rate of spread.
No structures are threatened.
Fire crews from the Vacaville Fire Department, Dixon Fire Department and Montezuma Fire Protection District are fighting the blaze.
A crew from the U.C. Davis Fire Department has been dispatched to the city of Dixon to provide coverage there.
