Crash shuts down traffic on residential street in Fairfield

A major rollover crash drew a sizable law enforcement and medical response along a residential street in Fairfield on Tuesday.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Kidder Avenue and San Marco Road.
Prior to the crash, a Fairfield patrol officer spotted the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed down Travis Boulevard. The officer witnessed the car striking several parked vehicles before it flipped in the intersection.
The driver of the crash was seriously injured, according to dispatches reviewed by Solano NewsNet.
A driver in another vehicle was treated by fire medics on the scene. Several parked cars near the scene of the rollover sustained minor to moderate damage.
Traffic was shut down along Kidder Avenue between San Marco Street and San Jose Street while police investigated the circumstances of the crash.
