Crash leads to flooded roadways in Fairfield
Several roadways are flooding in Fairfield following a traffic crash near the police department.
Fire crews were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a traffic crash that involved a fire hydrant near the intersection of Webster Street and Kentucky Street. A fire dispatcher said water was gushing from the sheared hydrant and was flowing toward Texas Street.
Traffic is expected to be impacted in the area while police and fire crews process the scene.
