Electrical service was disrupted to dozens of residents in Fairfield after a semi-truck crashed into a power pole in a neighborhood on Thursday.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. along the 2000 block of Orange Tree Circle.
Emergency officials began receiving calls from residents of a semi-truck that struck a power pole, causing the pole to come down and lines to drop onto the street and into the backyards of several homes in the area.
Power was disrupted to around 60 Pacific Gas & Electric Company customers, according to a map on the utility’s website.
No one was apparently hurt in the crash. Police closed several roads to traffic in that area while utility workers restored service to affected homes.
