Vacaville police are investigating a report of a robbery and an assault with a deadly weapon near the Premium Outlets on Nut Tree Drive.
Around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the Kay Jewelers store for a report of a robbery with at least one assault victim. When they arrived, they located one person suffering from a stab wound to the arm.
The person was taken to the Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville. Their condition is unknown.
An eyewitness described the robbery and assault suspect as a white man standing 5-feet, 8-inches tall wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a backpack. The suspect was last seen riding a black mountain bike north from the Outlets toward the Arco gas station.
Police recovered surveillance video from the jewelry store and a nearby business showing the person allegedly involved in the crime. Officers quickly searched a nearby trailer park, hotels and other businesses but were unable to locate him as of 3 p.m. Wednesday.
No other information was immediately available.
