Train crashes into car near Suisun City

Fairfield and Suisun City firefighters and police are rushing to the scene of a crash involving a train and a vehicle.

The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Cordelia Road and Pennsylvania Avenue west of Suisun City.

The vehicle, described as a white Nissan SUV, came to a rest in a field near the train tracks, according to police dispatches reviewed by Solano NewsNet.

No one was hurt in the crash. Rail and vehicle traffic was impacted in the area while emergency crews processed the scene.
