Firefighters gain control of three-alarm vegetation fire near Winters
Firefighters in Solano County battled a three-alarm vegetation fire near Winters on Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 9:15 a.m. in the area of the Hines Nursery along Winters Road.
Around 75 acres of dry grass burned before fire officials were able to stop the forward progression of the blaze.
The blaze drew a sizable response from Solano County fire agencies as well as the Winters Fire Department and CAL FIRE.
The fire was contained around 10:50 a.m.
No evacuations were ordered, and there is no information as to what started the fire.
