Three-alarm fire ignites near park in Vallejo

Fire crews in Vallejo battled a three-alarm vegetation fire that broke out at a park in the city.
The fire started Tuesday afternoon at Hanns Park near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Redwood Parkway.
Firefighters defended multiple homes in neighborhoods around the park, including along Goheen Circle close to where the fire is believed to have started.
One firefighter was transported to a local hospital after sustaining a non-life threatening injury, according to a source.
The fire was contained shortly before 5 p.m.
Crews from Benicia, Napa, Crockett, Cordelia and Fairfield were dispatched to provide assistance to firefighters in Vallejo.
