Police investigate robbery at bank in Fairfield

Fairfield police are investigating a robbery that took place at a bank on Thursday.
The robbery was reported around 4 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch along the 600 block of Jackson Street.
Workers inside the bank told police a man passed a teller a note, then fled with an unspecified amount of cash.
According to police dispatches, the suspect was described as a Black man standing six-feet, one-inch tall wearing a coffee-colored brown shirt and blue jeans.
The man reportedly fled in an early 2000s white-colored Toyota Camry or similar car.
No other information was available about the incident.
