One injured after shooting in Vallejo neighborhood

Officers with the Vallejo Police Department are responding to a report of a shooting at a neighborhood there.

The incident was reported just before 2:30 p.m. near a home along the 100 block of Muller Street, according to dispatches.

A Solano County Sheriff’s deputy who was in the area arrived at the scene first and located one person with a gunshot wound to the neck. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

Police say they are looking for two suspects who are described by eyewitnesses as Black males who ran toward the Safeway grocery store in the area. Several officers have established a perimeter in the area.
