Firefighters battle one-alarm vegetation blaze in Suisun City

Firefighters are on the scene of a one-alarm vegetation fire burning in Suisun City.
The fire was reported around 12:20 a.m. Thursday along a stretch of Crystal Street.
It was not clear what started the fire, nor was it known if there were any evacuations during the blaze. Forward progress of the fire was declared to be stopped around 12:30 a.m.
Firefighters from the Suisun Fire Protection District and the Fairfield Fire Department were dispatched to provide assistance to Suisun City firefighters.
The fire broke out hours before a Red Flag Warning was set to take place on Thursday morning. Forecasters warn that any wildfires that start during the Red Flag Warning period will likely spread far and fast.
