Officials with the Solano County Office of Emergency Services have lifted an evacuation warning that was issued for the LNU Lightning Complex wildfire burn scar earlier this week.
The evacuation warning was put in place after meteorologists with the National Weather Service said ash and debris flow were possible during this week’s winter storm. The forecast led to the issuance of a Flash Flood Watch earlier this week.
The Flash Flood Watch expired Thursday afternoon, and with it came the lifting of the evacuation warning.
“Winter is not over,” Solano County emergency officials said in a social media post. “Residents should remain vigilant and have a Go Bag ready.”
The Solano County Office of Emergency Services has launched a new webpage with information on storm preparedness. That webpage can be accessed by clicking or tapping here.
